Chillifunk vs. Phil Asher
(CD Chilli Funk)

Of course every aficionado of soulful house music knows Phil Asher and the label Chillifunk Records. Bringing these two together is certainly a good idea and with the quality release roster of Chilli Funk there's no doubt about the quality of the music. So it's no surprise that the track listing reads like a who's who in house music of recent times.
For example we get East West Connection ft. Sandy Mill with We're Movin' On, Jody Watley's Photographs, T. Kolai with Zouk, Dino And Terry ft. L.M.A. with Summertime Blues (even sounds good in the winter of 2004).
And of course one of Chilli Funk's most impressive artists shouldn't be missing...Nathan Haines is included with three songs from his recent album, Doot Dude (ft. Lyric L), which appears in Ashley Beedle's Buff Boy Vocal Mix, Squire For Hire (ft. Marlena Shaw) and Right By Your Side that utilizes the vocal talents of Marcus Begg and Vanessa Freeman (also check out Vanessa's contribution to Reel People's The Light).
Together with songs by The Interns ft. Snowboy (It's About Time), Vaceo (Many Nights) or Notenshun (Unfinished Business) this really is a worthwhile compilation brilliantly mixed by the one and only Phil Asher with some of the songs being available on CD for the first time.
Why go out and bother with a DJ who only plays bad music when you can have a party de luxe at your home with this CD and the right kind of people?
Chillifunk vs. Phil Asher will be released on February 7th.
