Of course the inspiration for the title (together with Roberta & Donny's Back Together Again), not so much lyrics from Maxwell on this one, but the joy of being together with your loved one can be heard throughout the whole song.

That's the other insiration for the title. More uptempo than Maxwell and a great piece of work by Roberta and the late Donny.

Not so sure what Benita means in the intro with words like "the mailman's been making deliveries twice a day and it's only because he knows you're not here" but this song develops in a nice soul song done as a duet with Derrick McCampell. And it sounds like they come together again: "The time is almost here/ For what we've been waiting for my dear/ Lonely days have passed away/ All the hard work is finally paying off". Hope it'll work this time and she don't need the mailman anymore!

Originally done by Stephanie Mills, but Mrs. Winbush versions is better (and besides she was always the writer of this song). Not sure if she sings this because she now knows what she wants and is reunited with her lover, but it would fit: "I was always afraid of being the one left hurt/ Running away from the one thing for which I always yearned/ I'm not ashamed to tell you many nights I tossed and I turned but/ I learned to respect the power of love".

Not a cover of the Roberta/Donny song and dealing with a more global vision of being together and loving one another. But without peace between you and the people around you how can one expect world-wide peace? So begin with yourself and the ones you care about or used to care about....
