On Since You Been Gone Sandra is more generous and knows she was the one who did wrong: "I’ve been waiting for someone like you to appear, I’ve been waiting for what feels like a hundred years/ Since you been gone/ Guess I can admit it I went through a crazy phase/ But I thought I needed a little time and space/ I just lay awake crying all through the night/ Cause no other can enter this heart of mine like you did". Guess it's all about forgiveness if you want someone back.

Judging this from the context of the album Here My Dear (that Marvin dedicated to his then ex-wife Anna Gaye) this is more a song to make you recall all the things you did together and maybe that'll makes you realize that you don't want a divorce or separation.

Although Macy tells us how her lover has mistreated her (just like Billie Holiday told us in My Man) she still wants to be with him...strange case in my opinion...but love makes no sense and all is fair in love and war...

Another aptly titled song for this compilation that really needs no further comment.
